Izotope Ozone 5 is a professional recording software and digital audio workstation (DAW) offering an innovative and inspiring creative environment. While designing an album using Ozone 5 I had some issues with access permissions that would cause my computer not able to open the program properly. I would get an authorization error message that my device is not authorized to use the software which is not what you need when you are trying to create your album. I found that this was caused by the authorization file which was corrupted on my computer. The authorization file must be opened using the same version of Ozone 5 software you were using when it was saved. This can be easily fixed by downloading new authorization file and placing it in the location of the original at “C:\\Users\\\\AppData\\Local\\Izotope”. The download link for this file is provided below Izotope Ozone 5 Authorization File Download ( https://www.izotope. com/ozone/ozone-5-authorization.html ) How to fix authorization file: Navigate to C:\\Users\\\\AppData\\Local\\Izotope and place the new authorization file in this location. Then open Ozone 5 and go into the authorization tab on the right side of the program, you should notice that your computer is now authorized for use with Ozone 5.
